Psycho-Pass is one of the best fantasy anime of all time. Cyberpunk animation with many themes to explore. Given its dystopian setting, Psycho-Pass raises many questions that befit its subject matter. The action is intense and the animations are colourful. It’s never uninteresting and our viewers are always impressed. Psycho-Pass is the study of what happens when the criminal justice system takes into account human behaviour and future crimes.
The anime investigates what happens when a crime is recognized before it works out, and the manner in which society will adjust to the ongoing new reality. After you think about this present reality ramification of prescient policing, it’s really alarming stuff This blog endeavours to give a top to bottom clarification of the easiest watch order.
There are 41 episodes in Psycho-Pass covered in 3 seasons. A large piece of the plotline is presented in a unique style in the form of cases and film with zero amount of fillers.

Psycho-Pass: Chronological Watch Order
Follow the order in which the series/movies are written below. They are arranged as per the timeline of the story.
1. Psycho-Pass (2012)
The story takes place in the future where a “Dominators” & “Cymatic Scanners” can measure people’s emotions, behaviour and crimes. The season acts as a foundation for the plot to take leaps of risks and twists throughout its execution.
2. Psycho-Pass 2 (2014)
Season 2 tells the story of Akane Tsunemori, who learns the identity of the civilian system 18 months after the death of Shogo Makishima, and must stop a man who tries to shake the sibyl. This is by far the best season from Psycho-Pass.
3. Psycho-Pass Movie (2015)
The film focuses on Akane Tsunemori, a Public Security Agency detective, who found the image of Shinya Kogami. As Kogami trains criminals, the detective Tsunemori travels to the Southeast Asian Union (SEAUn) to investigate and arrest him. Overall I feel it’s just average in terms of animation, execution and story.
4. Psycho-Pass Sinners of the System Case 1: Tsumi to Bachi (2019)
The first entry in Psycho-Pass’ Sinners of the System movie. Even though the animation is impressive, the graphics are solid, and the setting is interesting, the franchise still struggles to avoid getting deeper into the story, and its unnecessary focus on the plot makes it duller than it needs to be. It’s not completely a waste, but there’s a lot of unknown potentials here.
5. Psycho-Pass Sinners of the System Case 2: First Guardian (2019)
So I think I want to talk right now because the characters in this movie are so beautiful. I’ve talked about psychopaths before, but each character’s nature and their relationship with each other are always well written. This film is nothing special, and in fact, it is very good. I didn’t give it much thought because it’s a prequel to everything in Psycho-Pass. However, the plot of this film can very well develop some characters and establish others for stability.
6. Psycho-Pass Sinners of the System Case 3: Onshuu no Kanatai ni (2019)
This movie can be considered an independent movie because even though it is a Psycho-Pass movie, neither the Sibyl System nor any of the main characters from the S2 movies and the previous Psycho-Pass SS movies are present, except for Hanashiro Frederic who is introduced as a shadow character from the previous film.
7. Psycho-Pass 3 (2019)
The overall story is still excellent and it’s certainly better than most of Season 2, but it still pales in comparison to Season 1. So far the series is the best sci-fi acting, but it is no longer a feeling of need. With flawed characters and a sense of justice like the original.
8. Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector (2020)
After the events of Psycho-Pass 3, Inspector Kei Mikhail Ignatov realizes that he has joined an organization called Bifrost. Inspector Azusa and Koichi plan an attack on the Public Security Bureau tower.
